Banyan Tree Lang Co first launched The Seedlings and Seedlings Mentorship Program in 2015, following Banyan Group’s initiative and its long-term commitment to giving underprivileged youths an equal chance of achieving their full potential.
Seedlings Mentorship Program supports all school fees as well as school supplies, together with the associates acting as mentors who will guide and inspire the young students in their formative years until the age of 18.
The Seedlings Program is a vocational training program offering training and job opportunities for disadvantaged local youth (18 – 24 years old) and providing them with the necessary skills to forge a successful career in the hospitality industry.
Since 2015, Banyan Tree Lang Co has collaborated with the Nuoc Ngot Social Protection Center to provide CSR and Sustainability programs such as food and equipment donations, the establishment of the Melaleuca Quinquenervia Tree Oil plantation, and joy through celebrations such as the Mid-Autumn Festival and Tet (Lunar New Year) for the children.
Our Melaleuca Tree plantation has allowed the center to become more self-sufficient by producing high-quality, high-value essential oils for sale, which are used to fund its operations.
In 2001, Banyan Tree set up the Green Imperative Fund (GIF) as a mechanism to sustainably finance worthy environmental action and community based projects where Banyan Tree has a presence. At Banyan Tree Branded properties, guests are invited to support these efforts via a small contribution of US$2 per room night, under an “opt-out” arrangement.
We appreciate your support in our continued commitment to “Embrace the Environment and Empower People”.
