Terms & Conditions

• Each unit is equivalent to a 10 night stay at a selected participating property for the selected room type

• Guests will be able to buy up to a maximum of 2 units in one pass.

• Each unit (10 nights) must be fully redeemed at a participating property, e.g. splitting one unit across different periods, rooms or hotels is not allowed.

• Redemption of 2 units does not need to be made altogether at one point in time. Guests have the flexibility to choose and redeem separate units at different times at different properties, within the pass validity period. However, the credits would be up to USD 650 per unit, depending on Habitat Pass tier purchased.

• Each Habitat pass holds a validity of 12 months from the purchase date of the pass, and hotel stays need to be completed within this 12 month period too. This is regardless of the number of units purchased.

• Habitat passes purchased are not transferable.

• Guests may access our gifting site https://gifting.banyantree.com/ to make pre-payment for their selected purchase.

• Refunds will only be made eligible with both of the below conditions fulfilled:

  a) The full Habitat pass is completely unconsumed

  b) We are informed of the decision to cancel up to 14 days prior to the arrival date

  e.g. If a guest makes a 2-unit purchase and both units have not been utilised, and the refund request is made at least 14 days prior to the arrival date, the purchase is eligible for a refund.

  However, if a guest makes a 2-unit purchase and has utilised 1 unit, the remaining 1 unit will not be eligible for a refund.

• Any form of bank / transaction charges shall be incurred by the guest upon the approval of a refund.

• Hotel credits will be provided at individual properties for guests to utilise during their stay.

• Credits offered at each property must be fully utilised during the course of the guest’s stay.

• Credits are non-transferrable and any unutilised value shall expire upon checkout.

• Credits offered are not exchangeable for cash.

• Blackout dates are applicable in this Habitat programme. Please reach out to the individual hotels to confirm the blackout dates and more information about the hotels’ offerings. All other dates are subject to hotels’ availability, and hotels may close out the availability for Habitat programme redemption, at their sole discretion.

• Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts may without liability whatsoever, at any time and at its sole discretion and without cause or notice, amend these terms.
